I would highly recommend Katy Hall as a Child-minder, Babysitter and Nanny.

Katy worked for us for 5 years as a part-time babysitter in Zurich, Switzerland.  Katy has provided excelled care for our three children.  Our daughters are now 6 and 4 years old and my son is two years old. 

Katy is extremely kind and caring and has been wonderful with our children since she started babysitting for us in 2011.  She is very knowledgeable with regards to child development and discipline and is firm when required.  Katy is punctual and very reliable.

When Katy babysat for us, her duties included preparing meals for the children, giving them their bath, taking them to playgrounds, organizing activities, and putting them to bed when she was babysitting at night.  She follows directions very well and also makes good judgments on her own.  In addition, she is very helpful around the house and does the children's laundry.

Katy has looked after our two kids – now 3.5 and 2 years old for the last 1.5 years. She is great with both of them - always makes sure to get them out into the fresh air every day, does lots of fun arts and crafts with them and actively looks for new things to try, places to visit and/or activities they might enjoy. Katy keeps a cool head under pressure and I trust her 100% with the two most precious things in my life. Going back to work was a really difficult decision for me, knowing that my kids were in good hands and seeing how they both respond to Katy made that a lot easier.

I can highly recommend Katy Hall as a nanny and childcare provider [......] She was a recommendation from a friend whom she also cared for her young son. In a short time my husband and I felt confident and trusted Katy with the care of our two little children as an on- call nanny.

She is wonderful with both of my children. She is extremely knowledgeable about children and has a wonderful rapport with them. She is a consummate professional - punctual and hardworking - but she is also a very warm and loving person. When I leave my children with Katy, I feel confident and at ease, knowing that they are safe and cared for as though I was there. Furthermore, I enjoy discussing child-rearing and childcare with her. She provides and suggests a lot of great tips and information. She takes extra efforts to research questions or concerns that I have.

The majority of her time was spent as sole carer of our son during most of the day. For the first half of the year, she was employed for an average of 30 hours a week.

[ ...Den Kinder fühlten sich bei Katy sehr wohl und es wurde viel gelacht. Katy hat eine sehr soziale Ader und hat sehr schnell mir dem Nachbarschaft Kontakt geknüft. Katy achtete daruf, täglich mit den Kindern an die frische Luft zu gehen und unternahm auch Ausflüge mit Ihnen. Auch Nachbarkinder waren ihr willkommen. Katy unterstützte die Kinder im ihrer Selbstständigkeit und liess ihnen genügend Freiraum für Eigeninitiative und Kreativität. Sie war stets pünktlich und äusserst zuverlässig. Sie actete darauf, dass der Älteste rechtzeitig zur Schule kam....]

[...]Wir haben Katy als zuverlässige, verantwortungsbewusste, flexible und selbständige Nanny kennengelernt. Sie unterstützte uns tatkräftig bei der Betreuung unserer Kinder, schätzte auch in außergewöhnlichen Situationen die Lage richtig ein und informierte uns, wann immer es nötig war, rechtzeitig und umfassend.

Katy hat unsere Kinder im Alter von acht und vier Jahren sowie 24 Monaten kennengelernt. Insbesondere Felicitas benötigte intensive Betreuung und viel Aufmerksamkeit. Katy entwickelte innerhalb kurzer Zeit ein vertrauensvolles Verhältnis zu den Kindern. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns ihre Fähigkeit, auf die Bedürfnisse jeden einzelnen Kindes einzugehen und diese in den Alltag zu integrieren. So unterstütze sie Mathilde beim Erlernen der englischen Sprache, stand Oscar als zuverlässige Freundin in einer sehr schwierigen Zeit bei und integrierte auch Felicitas stets in das gemeinsame Spiel. Ebenfalls beeindruckend war ihre Fähigkeit, den Alltag der Kinder auf Englisch zu bestreiten, obwohl diese der Sprache nicht mächtig waren. Sie führte die Kinder so sanft an die Sprache heran, dass diese teilweise nicht bemerkten, dass es sich um eine Fremdsprache handelt.
Katy kochte täglich für die Kinder. Sie achtete dabei auf gesunde und ausgewogene Ernährung und integrierte unsere Wünsche in ihre kreativen Menüpläne.

Katy erkannte stets anfallende Hausarbeiten und erledigte diese ohne Aufforderung wann immer Zeit dafür war. Die Babysitting- Abende verbrachte sie damit, Menüpläne und Aktivitäten für die folgende Woche zu erarbeiten.
Katy war für uns einer der seltenen Glücksfälle, die man in der häuslichen Kinderbetreuung erleben kann. Wir hatten sehr hohe Erwartungen, die sie übererfüllte.[...]

Wir wussten unsere Kinder bei Katy jederzeit gut und sicher aufgehoben und empfehlen sie sehr gern und uneingeschränkt für die Kinderbetreuung weiter.
